Poke is a community acupuncture clinic located on Broadway near Main St. Community acupuncture is not a new concept in China or Portland Oregon, but it’s a totally innovative concept in health care in Vancouver.  Poke charges $20 to $40 per treatment with a one-time paperwork fee of $10.  The opportunity to pay what you can enables people to receive regular treatments when necessary and it also means that it’s accessible for people who wouldn’t normally be able to afford acupuncture treatments.  All of the people who work at Poke are registered acupuncturists.  I recommend it highly — you can pull up a Lazy Boy chair, receive your treatment, maybe take a nap, and enjoy the great decor.
